Religious Education Classes have ended for the 2018/2019 school year.
Late registation will open on Monday August 5 for remaining spaces in the program.

To enroll in the Religious Education Program of the Cathedral or Our Lady of Victory you must be an active registered member of the parish as of December 31 2018 or new to the city of Victoria.   Every child attending OLV must be a registered member of the Parish.   Please call the office for more information 575-8132.

Pope Francis reminds us that each baptized Catholic is to be a catechist - one who is called to share the faith with others.   Parents are the FIRST and BEST teachers of the faith who are are true Cathecists.
But we all are called to learn more about our faith and to share it with those in our homes and communities.  If you are interested in working in a ministry that share our Catholic Faith with children and young people please contact the religious education office for more details.   All supplies, materials and training is provide.   Please consider joining with others to bring the Good News of Jesus to our youths.    575-8132

Safe Environment 
Anyone working with children, young adults or vulnerable adults is required to complete and maintain their Safe Environment status.    Safe environment training helps our adults recongize the signs of child and elder abuse; how to prevent abuse from occurring; and if they witness or suspect  abuse, how to report it.  No one may volunteer or work prior to this training.  If you are considering working with the Religious Education Program, the Catholic School,  Youth Ministry, Boy or Girls Scouts or with vulnerable adults please try to make one of the upcoming workshops.

GROUND ZERO

For ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS 1st and 3rd Sunday of each Month...Gather for Mass at 6:00 p.m. and then in the Cathedral Center for food, faith and fun until 8:30 p.m. Spread the word and bring a friend. Stubenville Lone Star Youth Conference
June 21 - 23, 2019 in Irving Texas

Open to all incoming Freshmen thru graduating seniors.  $50 deposit will hold your spot and fundraising opportunities will be availble.  This is a fun and exciting conference sharing your faith with other youth. 
Transportation, food and lodging at included.
