Registered parishioners who are parents of a child to be baptizzed at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory should bring their child's birth certificate to the class. Parents and sponsors of children to be baptized at another Catholic Church will receive a completion certificate at the end of the class to present at the church of Baptism. Children's Liturgy of the Word for 4-year olds - 1st graders is held during the 11:30 a.m. Mass on several Sundays each month (for October, 1st, 15th, 22nd and 29th). Children gather before the 1st Reading and walk together to a nearby classroom to listen to the readings and the Gospel in a form that they can easily understand and also do a fun activity that goes along with what they just heard before returning to their parents at Mass. A lead "teacher" and 2 helpers are in the classroom with the children.
