Children's Liturgy of the Word (During 11:30 a.m. Mass)

Children's Liturgy of the Word for 4-year olds - 1st graders is held during the 11:30 a.m. Mass on several Sundays each month (for October, 1st, 15th, 22nd and 29th). Children gather before the 1st Reading and walk together to a nearby classroom to listen to the readings and the Gospel in a form that they can easily understand and also do a fun activity that goes along with what they just heard before returning to their parents at Mass. A lead "teacher" and 2 helpers are in the classroom with the children. Parents should take their child to the restrooms before Mass so that the limited time in the classroom will be focused on the readings.
