Black & Indian Missions, Catholic Communications and Catholic University Special Collection

The National Collection for Black and Indian Missions continues as the embodiment of the Church's concern for evangelizing the Black and Indian peoples of the United States. The funds are distributed as grants to dioceses through the U.S. Fifty percent of funds collected for the Catholic Communications Campaign remains in our diocese to fund local communications efforts. The Catholic University of America and its Scholarship Fund for Needy Students is the national university of the Catholic Church. Many priests and professional lay ministers throughout the U.S. have obtained their education from Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
