Children's Liturgy of the word

                  CHILDREN'S LITURGY RESUMES SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15!
Children's Liturgy of the Word for 4 year olds - 1st graders is held during the Sunday 11:30 a.m. Mass on several Sundays each month.. Please check the bulletin and the parish website's calendar for those exact dates. Children gather before the 1st Reading and walk together to a nearby classroom to listen to the readings and the Gospel in a form they can easily understand and also to do a fun activity that goes along with what they just heard before rejoining their parents at Mass. A lead "teacher" and two helpers will be with the children in the classroom.  Children's Liturgy of the Word is not held during the summer months. Volunteers are always needed to help with this important parish ministry. Parents are asked to take their child to the restroom before Mass so that the limited time they have together can be focused on the readings.
