Due to the Covid-19 limits on class size and effort to limit exposure we are not having inperson classes for Religious Education outside those attending class for First Communion and Confirmation preparation. Please review the grade level posts, the content will change regularly, we also send home material every 2 months. While it is NOT ideal we hope it helps parents who are always the FIRST AND BEST TEACHERS of the faith.
If you have any questions please call the office at 575-8132.
Parents are the First and Best Teachers of the Faith
The first catechists (Ones who share their faith) in any child's life are the family membes with who he or she lives. What happens in your home, both good and bad, provides important life lessons for your family's life. Faith is shared a spart of the unfolding of daily life, it cannot or should not be reserved just for Mass time or just in Church. The domestic Church - the home - is the real place in which a child learns to live his or her faith and learns what part it will play in their life.
Our goal as educators and parents is to created a lifelong faith formation that is centered in and flows out of the events of Church Life. View these two presentations which will give you some tips on how to make this better for your family.
Please take some time to share these videos and projects with your family this Advent..
